An Idea For An Entrepreneurial Mind Using UK Lottery Cash |
A Lottery is a real game of chance, and to some people a real waste of money, I say the people that say that are probably X players that had played many games with hardly any luck or wins.
Are You Wasting Your Money?
Personally I do not think they are a waste, lots of UK Lottery cash will go to good causes, at times it probably does not seem fair how the money is distributed but none the less the money does get distributed.
I think saying fair is not quite the term to use, may be the UK lottery Good Causes fund at times could be used a little more wisely.
Spending Lottery Good Causes Money
An example I have in mind and my personal opinion is from a story I found about a particular scout group that received a National Lottery Grant from the good cause fund.
The Scout Group is a Christian Run organisation based in a town with particularly high council tax where most of the inhabitants can easily afford the council band for where they live.
The scout group received the £10,000 lottery grant which went towards a very nice motor dingy boat.
I would agree that it was money well spent and allows some young scouts some nice adventures on their close and rather large lake.
What I don’t understand about this national lotto good cause fund is how some thing like this could receive preference over all the other scout huts in need of help.
There are still many scout halls that are in need of much needed repairs and new equipment to bring them up to standard in the much poorer areas of our countries.
Personally I think activities for children like the cubs and scouts are a necessity for society and should be given more commercial support across the board. It would be nice for the UK Lottery Fund to do this and bring in many more commercial companies in on the advancement of the scouts. Bring the scouts into the 21st century.
It may be a nice Idea but I can not see it happening.

Maybe using this UK Lottery System an entrepreneur could take it to the scouts for its ability to create residual income from a product every one has contact with, I would say on an almost daily basis.
Using the Affiliate referral system it could start with the scout head quarters and spider its way out though all the scout organisations. Give those parents interested in lottery games willing to participate in fund raising an added incentive to provide money to scout groups on a recurring monthly basis, it could even be included in the price of the scout memberships fees.
The National Lotto and Euro Lottery have got to be one of the most attended and recognised games known. With immediate product recognition you will be able to offer those willing to help raise funds for the scouts raised odds and many entries for their participation.
Those willing to go that bit further and help the scouts in their fund raising efforts and make more revenue will have the opportunity to play in effect for free or earn a bit of money for their own fundraising efforts with the lottery system.
When the scout halls make money from their fund raising efforts those in the system above will also make money all the way to the first introduction being the Scout Headquarters, then any money made at this level can again be put back into scout organisations most in need.
